About me…
After growing up in the Yarra Valley, I have lived in Mornington with my husband and three children since 2009. Together we enjoy; bush walking, camping, and spending time at many of our wonderful beaches on the Mornington Peninsula.
My career in Early Childhood Education began in the year 2000. At Monash University I completed Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and Master of Early Childhood Education, with a focus on leadership in Early Childhood Education. I have spent the past 20yrs working in various teaching and leadership positions in sessional preschools and early learning centres.
My love of nature has driven me to work at services that provide a Bush Kinder program, which introduce children to experiences of our natural environment which is unique and not possible inside a classroom alone. In both my professional and personal journey, I am passionate about learning and incorporating the benefits of Australia’s abundant Indigenous knowledge with children into my teaching.
