Experience: Started at SMPS in 2015
Amanda has been a teacher at the pre-school for since 2015 but has been an active part in the kinder community as a parent for a number of years. Amanda offers the 3 year old children a gentle transition from being at home to the kinder environment.
About me……
I obtained my Bachelor of Early Childhood (teaching) in 1999 and have thoroughly enjoyed all my teaching years since. I have 2 of my own children who have both attended the 3 and 4 year old programs at South Mornington, and as a parent, I fell in love with this kinder. In 2015, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to join the passionate and caring team here.
I have lived in Mornington since 2005 and love the sense of community our town brings to the kindergarten. I enjoy getting to know new families, and always aim to provide an inspirational and creative program to the children. I am a strong believer that children learn through play and for me, there is no greater delight than seeing the joy on children’s faces when they explore something new, and conquer new challenges presented to them!
